Pernell Gray’s experience in technology stems from his experience as a Systems Engineer with Northrop Grumman Corporation, a global leading aerospace and defense contractor. Having worked for over 15 years starting out as an electrical engineer, he has developed an expertise in testing and validating space craft bus and payload products. He is proficient in both electrical design, systems architecture, and several software languages

While with Northrop Grumman, Pernell has had the opportunity to travel all over the world in support of various projects to cities such as Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Washington DC, and Australia. He has led several multi-million dollar projects and small teams across the country and is a called upon resource in the space community. This works well with his avid love for traveling as a hobby.

Pernell has always had a passion for education and improving STEM exposure to underserved communities. In 2008 he launched and operated a STEM engineering camp program for grade level students that mentors and gears kids towards finding their purpose. This program quickly caught buzz across Los Angeles and his team has now helped hundreds of students. He also tutored in math and science for Professional Tutors of America before joining forces with Future N Focus as the Chief Technology officer.

Pernell has completed his Master’s degree in Systems Architecture and Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from DeVry University. He has also been nominated multiple years and recently won a national title for Black Engineer of the Year.
